Numbers get banned for sending unwanted messages from tools that break WhatsApp's rules. You can send to thousands of customers safely if you follow a few habits.
1. Use the official API, not the app
Using the normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app, or an unofficial tool, for bulk sending is what gets numbers banned. The WhatsApp Business Platform is the permitted route, and BulkyGrow is built on it.
2. Message only people who agreed
Opt-in is the single biggest factor. See the opt-in and consent guide.
3. Send relevant messages
Group your customers with tags and segments so each message suits the people receiving it. A restaurant offer sent to people who only ever bought clothes will be blocked.
4. Start small and grow
New numbers start with a limit of about 250 customers a day. Do not jump to the maximum. WhatsApp raises your limit as people respond well.
5. Keep content honest
Use a template category that matches the message, a clear business name, and no misleading claims. Read our template approval tips.
6. Make it easy to stop
Include an opt-out ("Reply STOP"). BulkyGrow handles the replies for you.
7. Watch your quality rating
BulkyGrow shows your number's quality rating and daily limit. If quality drops, pause campaigns, send fewer and more targeted messages, and let it recover.
8. Do not send too often
Once or twice a week is plenty for most businesses. More than that and people begin to block.
Follow these and your number stays healthy. Start free and send your first campaign with the safeguards switched on.
